Quantity Surveying
We are equipped to offer pre and post-contract quantity surveying services. We consistently strive to deliver top-notch services to our Client. Our strong suits are in contract administration; granular taking-off/measurement of quantities and detailed bill of quantities. These strengths considerably reduce the Client’s exposure to unexpected costs and protects the Client from adverse contractual matters and claims.
Pre-contract QS Services
Our standard services at this stage of construction include;
1. Preliminary budget estimates based on factors such as experience on similar projects, cadre of contractor, inflation and other speculative factors
2. Preparation of tender documents which entails granular taking-off, production of detailed bill of quantities with adequate provision for undefined (Provisional sum) work and specialist (Prime cost sum) works; conditions of contract, instructions to tenderers, guidelines and specification.
3. Preliminary procurement assessment to determine if materials and services required are locally available or not.
4. Tender negotiations and detailed tender analysis with objective recommendations
Post-contract QS Services
1. Contract administration and management.
2. Preparation of interim/stage valuations
3. Valuation of variations and General claims management.
4. Periodic financial statement to Project manager for Client’s use.
5. Preparation of final account
Cost Control & Finance Management
Our team of quantity surveyors and project managers are trained to assist our Clients to manage budget, monitor budget and provide alternative solutions to keep extra cost at bay on their projects.
